Shanghai, China, July 18, 2022 — Global plant-based meat pioneer brand Other Meat has announced the launch of a plant-based pork loin cake series in the Chinese market as the brand’s latest product, which contains rich protein and no trans fat. The launch of the collection marks the launch of the latest product category in the Chinese retail channel to help local consumers better enjoy delicious and nutritious plant-based proteins.

The plant-based pork Tenderloin series is made of simple plant ingredients. It has two flavors: “classic original” and “spicy”. The fresh, juicy, smooth and tough taste is similar to traditional animal pork, and it also has added nutritional benefits. The protein content of “classic original flavor” plant-based pork fillet cake per serving (100 grams) is about 16.4 grams, and the fat content is about 21.1 grams. The “spicy” plant-based pork tenderloin cake contains about 17.1 grams of protein and 22.4 grams of fat per serving (100 grams), while traditional pork contains about 30.1 grams of fat per 100 grams. With the increasing love and demand of young Chinese consumers for healthy, light and simple meals, plant-based pork fillet cakes of other meat customers can meet the growing demand for home-made delicacies.

Both plant-based pork products, as well as The Beyond Beef™ and The Beyond Burger®, were produced at The Company’s local production facility in Jiaxing, China.
